The story behind these pictures... I locked myself in my home for almost a month and a half to study for my re-exams. That wasn't easy to do but school is very important for me! 

Now that my re-exams are over and I've got my grades back (I've pasted them) it was time to spend some quality time with my friends! 

We took the train to Antwerp and had a delicious lunch at Baked, a new pie bar where you can eat homemade cake, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, ... and drink refreshing homemade lemonades, iced teas, ... etc. 

As you can see on the pictures, we had a fun time. I'm blessed to have these good friends!

Hi there!

Today I've chosen for a statement outfit to study in the library. I've got the T-shirt from the ecodesign store Supergoods at Mechelen (Belgium). It's from the eco clothing brand L'Herbe Rouge. On the T-shirt is written "Une autre mode est possible" (Another fashion is possible). It makes a statement and proves that eco/fair fashion doesn't has to be dull and boring! 

The materials selected by L'Herbe Rouge are the most environmentally friendly, only class A and B (organic linen, recycled yarns, organic hemp, tencel, organic cotton, organic wool and organic silk.) 

The T-shirt I'm wearing is made of organic cotton (70%) and linen (30%). It's without pesticides and according to a mode of production which strongly protects man and nature. 

So, I try more and more to watch out of what I buy. Especially on clothes. Nowadays, you can already buy a stylisch new outfit for only 15 euros! But where do these stuff come from? Who created it, in what circumstances and how much (or how little did they get payed for it?)

So last week was really sunny and I enjoyed it very much! Swimming, drinking, chilling ... I've done it all! And that's it, now I have to study for my re-exams... but don't worry, I still will be blogging during my breaks!

So okay, I'm cheating with this hooray for today post. It's not of one day but five days! 

For the first time in my life I went to the Dour festival with some friends from wednesday till sunday. We had a lot of fun and it was extremely hot! We did everything to cool down, water was very essential! 

But despite the heat, I really enjoyed myself and I already look forward to the next year edition!

Hi there,

Finally, we have a REAL summer in Belgium! Sun, blue sky, cocktails, happy people and pretty dresses. I've missed it so much! 

This long summer dress is comfy but still pretty and I think it matches great with my hair.

My outfit // The flamingo bikini

Hi there!

Normally I don't do bikini outfits but for this one I make an exception. This flamingo bikini is so awesome I have to share it with you guys! 

I bought it in january on the internet (asos). I never ever bought clothes/swimwear on the internet. I find it a bit risky. But when I saw the flamingo print, I was immediately in love. So I added it to the shopping bag and a week later it was mine! 

So for months I waited to wear it and finally, here in France, it is time!  Yes, I know I don't own a swimmers body but that's okay for me. This bikini makes me so happy I don't even think about that anymore.

My outfit // Little miss sunshine

Sweet little strangers, 

As you can see, I'm not in sad little rainy Belgium anymore! I'm spending my holidays in France for a week. 

Yesterday we went to the seaside, it was warm but very windy (watch the hair on the pictures and you will see). 

So I kept my outfit light but still with happy elements. The pink scarf is a gift from my grandmother. She has a closet full of old scarfs, it's like a second hand shop but better! I found the sunglasses in an old and dusty thrift shop. I payed almost nothing for it and apparently it's a very fancy, expensive piece from an optical boutique in Paris. Lucky me ! The jeans jacket is actually from when I was young (10 years old). Then I almost drowned in it but now it fits perfectly! And of course you all know the "I'm still saving for my birkin bag" bag from the shop Lily (Mechelen), I'm wearing it almost on every outfit! Yes, I'm addicted to the bag!

So, I'm going for a walk in the beautiful nature of France, have a nice day!

Hi there,

Last weekend I went to the Belgium coast together with some friends to celebrate the holiday. It wasn't very warm but the wind was actually very refreshing. I needed that, after a heavy school year. Also, I don't know if you noticed but I colored my hair blond. "Why blond?" ask alot of people. Well, the answer is: change, live, take risks! I always wondered how it would be to be blond. Now I know, blonds have more fun!

My outfit of that weekend was very colorful but yet city proof. I wanted to make a happy outfit. What do you think of the combo?

A few weeks ago, a student of photography asked me if I wanted to contribute with her street style project. This project is not just outfit photos taken with a digital camera like everybody does. She goes old school style with an analog camera. And now these days I am totally addicted to analog photos, so of course I sad yes!

Backstage the photoshoot.

Hoi hoi !

Een paar weken geleden vroeg een studente fotografie aan me of ik wilde mee werken aan een "street style" project van haar. Dit project is zijn niet zomaar digitale foto's zoals alle andere outfit foto's. Ze gaat de "old school" weg op en maakt de foto's met een analoog camera. En moet het nu lukken dat ik de laatste maanden echt verslaafd ben aan analoge foto's. Ik vind ze zo puur. Dus natuurlijk zei ik ja !  

Heb ik je nieuwsgierig gemaakt en wil je graag meer zien van haar werk? Twijfel dan niet langer meer en bezoek haar online  foto album en ontdek alle verschillende "street styles" die zij al gefotografeerd heeft!

Kom op, steek je tong uit tegen kanker

Zo dus bij deze, steek ik mijn tong uit tegen kanker!

Hoi hoi!

Voor wie het nog niet wist, de jaarlijkse campagne van Kom op tegen Kanker is vrijdag 22 februari weer van start gegaan. Dit keer met wel een zeer origineel statement: "Kom op, steek je tong uit tegen kanker". De campagne staat in het teken van kanker bij kinderen en meer bepaald de late gevolgen van de ziekte bij die patiëntjes. Het is een oproep naar Vlaanderen om massaal de tong uit te steken tegen kanker. Ze krijgt haar hoogtepunt tijdens de liveshow op Eén op 16 maart.

Steek dus je tong uit, maak er een foto van, post deze samen met je motivatie op de site van Kom op tegen Kanker en maak een donatie over.

The new international F.AL.L. Magazine stands for Fashion, Art, & Literature Lifestyle and gives a new and fresh look to the international contemporary creative culture. FALL Magazine works with new creative talents such as designers, photographers, artists, writers, journalists, models and more. These talents get  through F.AL.L. the opportunity to show their work to the world. As for myself, I write two weekly an article for on their blog.

The magazine is published six times a year with specific themes such as First Glance, A Journey and Reflection. The six themes are inspired by a common thread that runs through everyone's life.

Two weeks ago I went last minute to Spain. I had a holiday but didn't want to spend it in sad, rainy little Belgium. So I went with a friend to a travel agency, booked a trip and flew to it the next day. Let's go crazy! 

We went to Torremolinos (Malaga), but also visited some villages/cities around it like Puerto Marina, Marbella, Malaga and Fuengirola. It was a really fun and relaxing trip. We also made a lot of outfit pictures, those will come soon!

Hoi hoi,

Twee weken geleden ben ik last minute naar Spanje vertrokken. Ik had vakantie maar wilde deze niet doorbrengen in de zielige regen in klein België. Hoeveel ik ook van mijn landje hou, ik moest er even tussenuit! Dus ben ik samen met een vriendin naar een reisbureau gegaan, een reis geboekt en de volgende dag zaten we op het vliegtuig. Doe eens gek!

We zijn naar Torremolinos (Malaga) gegaan maar hebben ook een paar dorpjes/stadjes er rond bezocht zoals Puerto Marina, Marbella, Malaga and Fuengirola. Het was een leuke en ontspannende reis. We hebben ook belachelijk veel outfit foto's gemaakt, die komen snel online!
